848 Termignoni full system, cam timing and mapping

The bike started out as original with a full system, then we adjusted the cams to 105/109 and mapped fuel and ignition.

The new Evo engine was a treat to work on, the radiator folds nicely away from the horisontal head making it easy to fit the cam timing equipment.

HyperTrick in house developed cam timing jigg ready to go:

To mount the jigg on the Evo engines you have to change the outer cam cap bolts to the 999 ones, straight swap.

The cams were surprisingly pretty close as they were with 105/106 respectively 109/106, they were adjusted to 105/109 (measured at running tension)

Before the cam timing we had the bike to the dyno for a base run, fully original but Termi full system and DP ecu.
4,5hp up at 7000 rpm that's nice, that's the part of the range you often use your bike. There was some more top to be had by extending the rev limiter to 11,500. The ignition curve was a bit off and the dip between 7 and 8000 was improved on and the topend got a bit more rounded.
Mapping fuel and ignition directly in the ecu.

Blue is original but Termi full system and DP ecu, red is final result:
