848 Slipon and camtiming

This bike was a test to see how the stock exhaust with slipon would do.

I wanted to find out exactly what the cam timing itself did, so it was fully mapped before with the cams at 113/106 respectively 114/102.
Then the cams of both cylinders were dialed to 105/109 and back to dyno and fully mapped again. The exhaust valve action and CO-sensor was also removed from the ecu.

The isolated result from this cam timing change is the graph below

The 848 has a very big exhaust system stock so we were curious to see how it would do compared to the termignoni full system.
With the cams dialed to 105/109, same specs as the full termi I tuned a month earlier, we could make a valid comparison of the two setups.
There you have it, slipons and full termi gives the same power, not a big surprise to anyone that has been in the exhaust business for a while.

For power there is no reason to get the full system, blue is slipon and red full system
